About LAD device and alerts
LAD is a self-contained and portable device that continuously monitors the list of your vessel in the water. Predefined limits will automatically trigger notification alerts to your phone/email if your vessel takes on a persistent list, thus alerting you that your vessel may be in danger of sinking.
LAD monitors angular movement around all axis smoothing them out to compensate for normal vessel pitch and roll. List Alerts are generated when the average "zero" point has moved a set number of degrees from "normal". LAD also monitors and records compass heading, GPS derived position data, GPS speed, relative temperature and battery voltage; all available for user defined alerts.
